Presentation

Age-old Andalusian city located on the banks of the river Guadalquivir half way between Seville and Granada. Cordoba's rich past and cultural diversity is amply reflected in its Jewish, Arab and Christian sites. From the ancient moorish mosque, Alcazar and the Roman bridge, through the Viana palace, cathedral and castle of the Christian Kings, the city is laden with historic atmosphere. The welcome and passion of Andalucia are reflected in its festivals and traditions: Easter week, the flower competition, the May wine tasting, the festival of the floral crosses and many others.

Ville andalouse au bord du fleuve Guadalquivir et à mi-chemin entre Séville et Grenade. En se promenant dans ses rues on respire le métissage de cultures qui caractérisa pendant si longtemps cette ville qui fut tour à tour juive, arabe et chrétienne. Ce mélange peut être apprécié dans le quartier juif, dans la Mosquée-Cathédrale, sur le pont romain, dans le palais Viana, dans l'Alcazar des Rois Chrétiens et dans tant d'autres endroits à découvrir. Cordoue est une ville passionnante et accueillante qui envoûte. Il ne faut pas manquer ses fêtes et traditions comme la Semaine Sainte, la fête des croix de fleurs et l'inégalable "Feria de Mayo" entre autres.
